Rain Garden

What is a rain garden?

A rain garden, or bio-retention system, is a landscaped, shallow depression that captures, filters, and infiltrates stormwater runoff.

Rain gardens are an aesthetically pleasing way to remove non-point source pollutants from stormwater runoff while recharging groundwater with  landscaping.
