Minimizing Flooding

As intense storms become more frequent and bring heavier rainfall, we all run a higher risk of localized flooding.

This risk is compounded by impervious surfaces, like roads, driveways, and rooftops, which prevent stormwater from soaking into the ground. These hard surfaces significantly contribute to flooding by increasing runoff volume and speed.
